Suffield Parks & Recreation to Offer “Create, Shoot, Edit, Post” Workshop in New Business Series

The Suffield Parks & Recreation Department is continuing to offer more programs with our New Business Series with an upcoming hands-on workshop titled “Create, Shoot, Edit, Post: Practical & Creative Content for Small Businesses.”

The free session is open to the public and is designed to help small business owners, nonprofit leaders and individuals building their personal brands for 2026 confidently create and share engaging digital content.

Our new-Create, Shoot, Edit, Post-Content Creation workshop will take place on Monday, March 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Suffield Senior Center, 145 Bridge Street in Suffield. The program is open to ages 16 and older. There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Develop clear and effective content ideas for their business or organization
  • Shoot engaging photos and videos using a smartphone
  • Edit content with free or low-cost tools
  • Post with confidence and consistency to increase visibility and engagement

The workshop will be led by Alyssa Salerno, media specialist with The Stephanie Salerno Team at Coldwell Banker Realty. The workshop is perfect for anyone ready to learn how to put content creation into action, whether they are just starting out or looking to sharpen their skills.

No previous attendance in the New Business Series is required, and the strategies shared can be applied immediately without a large marketing budget or prior experience.
