Suffield Police: Neglected Animals Removed From Farm
Cattle, poultry, and dogs at three local properties have been removed due to neglect.

SUFFIELD, CT — Police have removed animals for evaluation and rehabilitation after they received a tip that cattle, dogs, and poultry were being neglected at farm owned by the same individual, according to FOX 61. The state Department of Agriculture and local animal control officials investigated a complaint filed by a veterinarian about properties at 1497 Sheldon St., West Suffield; 1601 Sheldon St., West Suffield, and 212 N. Main St., East Granby.
The animals were deprived of food, water, and proper medical attention. The owner, Rachel Kornstein, 34, of Manchester, was recently charged with failure to pay or plea an infraction complaint.
