Suffield PTAC Holiday Boutique Open Thursday
Parents and students are welcome to shop a variety of local artisans during the Parent Teacher Advisory Council Holiday Boutique December 13 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Suffield Middle School.

The Suffield Middle School gym will be turned into a holiday boutique Thursday as more than 25 vendors offer up options gifts and goodies for students, staff, parents and the public.
It's the third year for the PTAC event, which is part fundraiser, part showcase.
"Amazingly, last year the boutique made $1,131 for the PTAC - which for a one day event is great," said Kris Karam, president. "The school earns money, the vendors profit, and even the students get in on the action shopping for holiday gifts. Its a win-win!"

Students will be brought through during the school day and have the option to purchase items at the Boutique. It's something vendor Susi Keane likes about the event.
"It's nice to be local and in the school," she explained. "I get to spend the day with other parents and vendors and see my friends' kids when they come in."
