Suffield School Board Hires Assistant Superintendent
Brian Hendrickson comes to town from a middle school principal position.

A middle school principal from Naugatuck has been hired as the new Suffield assistant superintendent of schools.
Brian Hendrickson, principal at City Hill Middle School since 2012, was unanimously approved for the post by the Suffield Board of Education Tuesday night, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Hendrickson was selected from a field of 25 applicants, and joins new superintendent Karen Berasi to comprise an entirely new leadership team for the town’s schools.
He will be in charge of curriculum, including teacher evaluations.
