Suffield in Top 5 of Final Girls Soccer Poll

Ridgefield and Granby Memorial high schools were the big winners not only on the field, but in the final balloting of girls soccer coaches in Connecticut for the 2017 season.

Ridgefield (15-2-3), the Class LL champion, garnered three of five first-place votes to top the LL-L division. Class L winner St. Joseph (16-1-4) received the other two top votes.

Suffield (17-1) tied for fifth in the final LL-L balloting.

In the M-S division, Class M champion Granby Memorial (19-1) was tabbed number one on four of seven ballots, while Class S titleholder Lyme-Old Lyme (20-0) collected the other three top votes.
