Suffield Unanimously Vaults Into Top Spot Of Girls Soccer Coaches Poll

Glastonbury, Somers and Granby were other area teams which received votes in the most recent round of balloting by high school coaches.

SUFFIELD, CT — A pair of big victories last week launched the Suffield High School girls soccer into the top spot in Classes M-S in the weekly poll of coaches, with the Wildcats receiving all 12 first-place votes.

Suffield sports a 7-0 record, and has outscored its opponents by a 35-4 margin. The Wildcats had placed second in last week's balloting behind Daniel Hand, which dropped to third. Somers and Granby also garnered votes in Classes M-S.

St. Joseph of Trumbull continues to pace Classes LL-L, again collecting all 12 top nods. Glastonbury received some support as well.
