Suffield's Dream Ends in Girls Soccer Semifinals
A perfect season came to a sudden stop with a Final Four loss to Ridgefield Wednesday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A memorable season ended in disappointment Wednesday for the Suffield High School girls soccer team, as the Wildcats bowed to Ridgefield 3-0 in the Class LL semifinals at Middletown High School.
The Wildcats, seeded second, entered the game undefeated during the regular season and state tournament competition, having not allowed a single goal in the first three rounds of LL play.
Unfortunately, third-seeded Ridgefield found the net twice in the opening half, then once again after intermission to earn a berth in Saturday's state championship match against No. 1 Glastonbury.
