Tanker Truck Makes Contact With House in Suffield
No serious injuries were reported after the Sunday morning incident on Route 168.

SUFFIELD, CT — A tanker truck went off the roadway and struck a residence at 916 Mountain Road Sunday morning, across the street from the Suffield Police Department.
The truck, which is believed to have been transporting milk, did not penetrate into the structure of the home, but its hood detached from the vehicle and struck the building's exterior. The vehicle itself did not make contact with the structure, Capt. Christopher McKee said.
At least one person was present in the house at the time of the incident, but no injuries were sustained by anyone inside the home. The driver of the truck was transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, McKee said.
