Turtle Saved from Busy Street in Suffield
An anonymous caller and a Suffield police officer combined to rescue the reptile from potentially being struck.

SUFFIELD, CT — A large turtle attempting to cross a busy Suffield road still has his life today, thanks to an anonymous Good Samaritan and a town police officer.
The anonymous caller told police the turtle was slowly crossing Bridge Street Monday, and feared for its safety, police said.
Officer Rob Dabkowski snared the reptile and brought it to safety.
