Two Injured In Suffield House Fire
A homeowner and his elderly mother were injured in the blaze Sunday evening.
SUFFIELD, CT — Two people were injured in a home fire Sunday evening, according to police. Firefighters responded to the house fire on Remington Street at 5:11 p.m.
Emergency responders assisted the homeowner in removing his elderly mother from the home. Both people were taken to Bridgeport Hospital's Burn Unit for treatment due to severe burns and smoke inhalation.
Part of Remington Street was closed while firefighters gained control of the blaze. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
