What's On Tonight: Survivor: One World, Revenge for Real, Doomsday Bunkers

TV tips for Wednesday, March 7.

Survivor: One World, 8 p.m., CBS

Watching the men talk abut the women is like watching a Congressional hearing on birth control, and watching the women do anything is like poking myself in the eye with a stick, so I have decided my survival technique this season is I forward through all the talking and simply watch the challenges and the Tribal Council. And how great was that Tribal Council? Don’t we all love seeing a you-know-what like Matt get blindsided? Yes, we do. Now, let’s watch Colton implode.

“Capitalizing on the recent success of ABC's freshman drama Revenge, the network has decided to air a limited series titled Revenge For Real.  Produced by ABC News, this two-part series will air in place of Revenge on Wednesday March 7 and 17.” OK, really? Are we being punk’d?

Not making this up: “This stars Dallas-based Deep Earth Bunker owner Scott Bales and his team of engineers, who build the underground compounds.

The show will delve into the various survival strategy methods Bales uses in building the hidden facilities, which can feature air systems with nuclear, biological and chemical filters, massive water storage tanks, security systems, gun vaults and decontamination rooms, as well as above ground-style amenities such as custom-built kitchens with granite counter tops, fine floor finishes and luxurious bathrooms. Safety features might include outside hand rails with hidden flame throwers and tsunami pods.”
