Windsor Marketing Begins Expansion of Its Suffield Operations
State and local officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The Windsor Marketing Group (WMG), which received a $1.5 million state loan to expand its operations in Suffield, officially broke ground on the project Thursday.
WMGroup, which has been recognized twice by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association for championing an environmentally and socially responsible business model, held the groundbreaking ceremony April 30.
Several local and state officials attended the event including Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith, State Rep. Tami Zawistowski (R-61), Department of Energy and Environmental Proection Commissioner Robert Klee, and Deputy Minority Leader State Sen. John Kissel (R-7).

The $1.5 million DECD loan that was approved by the State Bond Commission will allow WMG to retain 138 local jobs and add 27 more in the future.
Zawistowski, a member of the legislature’s bipartisan Manufacturing Caucus, worked extensively with the WMG team in securing the loan.
