Zawistowski, Malloy Endorsed in 61st House Race
The Republican incumbent is being challenged by the East Granby Democratic town chairman.

SUFFIELD, CT - State Rep. Tami Zawistowski will be challenged by East Granby's Democratic town chairman in the battle for the 61st District seat in the Connecticut General Assembly this fall, the Journal Inquirer reported.
Michael Malloy, who has served as town chairman since 2008, will oppose Zawistowski, who is seeking her second full-time term in the House.
Each was endorsed Tusday night at party conventions - Zawistowski at East Granby Town Hall, and Malloy at the Suffield Fire Department.
