The 20th Annual Youth & Family Benefit Pumpkin Run/Walk will be held on October 27, 2013 on the Higganum Green. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the Higganum Green. The kid’s fun run begins at 12:15 p.m. and the 5K walk and run begins at 1:00 p.m. This scenic race is managed by the Hartford Marathon Foundation and all proceeds benefit Youth & Family Services of Haddam-Killingworth, Inc. To register please visit www.hkyfs.org and click on the online registration link. Runners/Walkers can register on the day of the event and donations and sponsorships can still be made. Record Attendance is expected this year.
The day offers fun for the entire family and will include many kid activities such as face painting, cookie decorating and pumpkin painting.
