KILLINGWORTH, CT — A crop farm was among 21 businesses in Haddam, East Haddam and Killingworth that registered with the state in September, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Bear Hollow Falls LLC, on Park Road in Haddam, listed its line of work as miscellaneous crop farming. Business types in the registry are chosen by the filers themselves and have not been independently verified.
East Haddam accounted for nine of the new businesses, including two in Moodus; Haddam had six, including three in Higganum; and Killingworth had six. Two East Haddam companies registered as site preparation contractors, River Valley Earthworks and Rough Works. Other newcomers include The Wild Grain Bakery on Cherry Swamp Road in Moodus; Easton Legal, a law office on Pond Meadow Road in Killingworth; and Red Shed Studios, a graphic design business on Christian Hill Road in Higganum.
