On Sunday, October 20, 2013 the Haddam Historical Society will host an antiques appraisal fair to benefit the society’s high school scholarship fund. Currently there are seven antiques dealers/appraisers with expertise in Americana, books/ephemera, jewelry, Asian and pewter. There will also be a “generalist” on hand. Participants include Arthur Liverant of Nathan Liverant and Son of Colchester, Lew Scranton of Killingworth, Ron Chambers of Higganum, Paul Indorf of Chester, Robert and Cecelia Wheeler of Branford , Phil Devlin of Higganum and Tom Perry of www.oneofakindantiques.com . Attendees may bring up to three items (excluding firearms, coins, currency and stamps) for a verbal appraisal. One item will be $10, two items $15 and three items $20. Proceeds will fund our scholarship fund. Additional information will be posted at www.haddamhistory.org.
