ATV Crashes in Haddam Over the Weekend

The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to an accident at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the intersection of Filley Road and Jericho Road.

Life Star later transported two patients to Hartford Hospital with what appear to be serious injuries.

“A driver, operating an all-terrain vehicle with a passenger, lost control of his ATV and crashed into a tree,” the fire company said via Facebook. “The driver and his passenger were both thrown from the ATV. They were not wearing helmets.“

Firefighters said the patients were treated by Haddam Volunteer firefighters/EMTs and were transported to the landing zone on Beaver Meadow Road via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service and Chester Hose Company Ambulance.
