WATCH: Baby Owl Falls From Nest; Taken In by Local Rescue
A Place Called Hope rescued the owlet and re-nested him, along with his owl siblings.
A baby Barred Owl fell from his nest on Monday, May 11, and was rescued by Killingworth’s A Place Called Hope. The wildlife rehabilitation organization wrote on Facebook:
“This baby fell from his nest site today and will be re-nested (boxed) tomorrow. We will also put the other babies in the nesting box so that they will all be together and safe. The crook of a tree, in this case, is NOT adequate for this clutch of fast growing Owlets. Enjoy!”
