Reminder: The East Haddam Free Public Library is proud to present the 2014 Bat Fest, a charitable event to benefit Bat Conservation International. There will be food, beverages, live music, PowerPoint presentations for adults and kids, items to be raffled and an evening "Bat Walk," during which you will hear the echolocation calls of hunting bats. The event will start at 3:00 and end at around 9:00. Stay for the whole time, or just drop in for a while. It'll be fun and informative. The Sanctuary at Shepardfields, 59 Bogel Road, East Haddam.
