10:20 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, Update
Killingworth Volunteer Fire Co.1: The KVFC has been staffing Station 1 since 6 p.m. last night. Coverage will continue until the height of the storm passes later today. Remember to clear the snow from your heater vents to reduce the risk of Carbon Monoxide building up in your home.

9:07 p.m. Update
- Town of Haddam Offices closed due to weather: Tue, Jan 27, 2015
- Haddam Transfer Station closed: Wed, Jan 28, 2015
- Killingworth Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
- Post from Haddam Volunteer Fire Company: Members of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company added tire chains to apparatus tonight prior to the heavy snow and 9 p.m. travel ban. Some volunteers will be staffing the firehouses and in the event of an emergency response will coordinate with Public Works to get to and from the scene.

All Region 17 schools will be dismissed early Monday 1/26/2015, due to the expected weather conditions, including no PM preschool. All after-school activities are also cancelled. (High school 11:55, middle school 12:35, and elementary schools 1:05).
