$1200 is an "inspiring" Jackpot for River Valley Slimdown participants
It's not too late to join over 20 challengers who have already signed up for the River Valley Slimdown a 10 week challenge to improve your health and fitness

Over 20 challengers have already signed up for this Fall's River Valley Slimdown - "Be Inspired" and the cash jackpot, which will be shared by the three "Biggest Losers", is already at a minimum of $1200.
The 10 week challenge runs from September 8th to November 17th and encourages participants to compete in a “biggest loser” style competition, with lots of encouragement, support and great incentives in the form of spot prizes and the cash jackpot.
The challenge focuses on weight control, exercise and group motivation. The first 20 participants to sign up for the challenge will receive a complimentary wellness and goal setting session with Penny Smyth, CHHC, AADP, RN, of New Beginnings Health and Wellness.

"It's not too late to start" says Donna Scott, founder of the RVSD and owner of Ifoundfitness in Deep River. "Our weekly weigh-in is on Saturday (September 15th) and we would love to see more River Valley residents join us for what has already proven to be a fun way to lose weight, get in shape and get your hands on that cash jackpot, just before the holidays!"
Scott, a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor says the greatest reward of her job is motivating her clients to attain a sensible and realistic approach to healthy eating and exercise; something they can sustain for a lifetime.

This is the third challenge run by Scott with a total of 335.00 lbs lost, over $1,100.00 donated to local good causes and over $2,800 in cash won by it’s participants.
“The numbers speak for themselves”, says Scott, “but the most inspiring thing is the letters and emails I get from our clients as they discover the benefits of the challenge in other parts of their life”. We all know that exercise is great for health, but it’s also great for happiness and so is giving back.
A big focus of the River Valley Slim down Challenge is the support and donations that challengers make to local causes. In association with Adams Hometown Market of Deep River, the Spring and Summer Challenges, generously gave canned goods at cost for The donations made by IFoundFitness to the Shoreline Kitchen and Tri-Town Social Services local foodbank. This Fall, a percentage of the slimdown’s profits will go to Tri-Town Youth Services. “Tri-Town does such a fabulous job inspiring our youth and their families by promoting positive programs for growth and development, IFoundFitness will be supporting them through our River Valley Slim Down Challenger’s Weight loss efforts” says Scott.
