HK Youth Lacrosse Jr. Boys 6th Grade Team off to a Running Start!

The HK Youth Lacrosse Boys Jr. (6th Grade) team opened their season against Groton on April 15th. Although HK played well Groton took advantage of every opportunity and ended up with the win 11-2. The HK goal scorers were Tanner Purcell and Kevin Dougherty, with an assist from Kevin McClean.
On Friday Apr 20th the team put it all together for a 5-2 victory over East Lyme! The boys demonstrated fantastic teamwork with contributions from everyone. Goals were scored by Devan Civiello (2), Nick O’Brien, Tanner Purcell, and Jared Sullivan with assists by Soren Franz, Scott Elliott, and Dominic Anziano. Outstanding defense played a primary role in the win, led by the efforts of Elliott, Franz, and Craig Allen!
