LOST BIRD - Friend - Loved One

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm from Middletown, CT.  On June 24, 2012, my pet, my buddy, Svenn flew away.  I had lost all hope of his return until earlier today, on Wednesday, July 25, 2012; my friend sent me a picture from a facebook post of a "little green, tropical bird" found behind the gas station and liberty bank (116 Bridge St. Haddam, CT) of (Tylerville) Haddam.  I really believe it to be Svenn because the post stated that he wasn't shy and it looked just like him.  

PLEASE, keep your eye out for him in that general area, but in general, if you see a yellow-based budgerigar (yellow-headed, green parakeet) CHECK IT OUT!

Call animal control, report the situation, and try to attract him.  He may respond to whistling, singing, bells, the crinkling of water bottles, any unique, strange noise, and/or the calls "Come here (sh-ven!)" and/or "Hey (sh-ven)!"  He is sociable, and LOVES bells, mirrors and FOOD.
