Romney gets a boost in Eastern Connecticut

This truly grass roots effort to boost Mitt Romney in eastern Connecticut was a refreshing experience.

A few weeks ago a stranger asked me if we had a Romney lawn sign to give him.  I explained that they were hard to come by and that I was considering printing some of my own but that would take raising some money.  The man offered to help finance the effort.   Within days others were pitching in.

A local printer proposed some artwork and we printed some signs.  These signs are a unique local effort and represent the desire of a number of individuals who want to help Mitt Romney to become President.

Our signs have been placed on lawns in a number of 2nd Congressional District towns including Haddam, East Haddam, Vernon, Coventry,Tolland and Ellington.  One stranger at the Haddam Neck Fair started quite a movement. This shows that everyone’s efforts and votes are important and can make a difference.
