SEE the Killingworth Lions at the Durham Fair September 27 - 30

Killingworth Lions take to the Durham Fair this weekend in their biggest annual fundraiser to support local charities across the shoreline. Don't miss our corn dogs and new baked stuffed clams.

Members of the Killingworth Lions Club will take to their permanent booth to raise funds as part of the annual Durham Fair this coming Thursday through Sunday. The Lions are located opposite the First Aid Station  on the main food intersection ¾ of the way up the hill. Funds generated by fairgoers’ food purchases will be used to support our youth programs, eye-related causes, scholarships and our many community initiatives. Lions fund the Pediatric Eye Center at Yale University, free Vision Screenings and the Low Vision Center.

According to Nathaniel Titcomb, club president of the Killingworth Lions Club, “Money raised will allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community. Lions members thank everyone who contributes to this important work by visiting us at the Fair for a Corn Dog, Fried Dough Pizza or Gourmet Baked Stuffed Clams. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”

The Killingworth Lions Club has almost 60 members. Lions clubs identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
