Hey guys!
Ok, so I know that everyone who is reading this has heard a thing or two about the Shelton High School Senior, James Tate, who is not being allowed to go to Prom because he made cardboard pieces of paper and taped them to a wall outside his school.
The message read, "Sonali Rodrigues will you go to Prom with me? HMU Tate." That's not such a big deal right?

Apparently, that's not what his principal thought. She went and suspended Tate and then banned him from his Senior Prom!
Now, I don't know about you guys, but I am so against banning James from his prom. He just wanted the girl he likes to feel special! Not to mention this was an extremely creative way to ask. Most girls hope that a guy will come up with some romantic or unique way to make her feel special. He did.

"It's stupid. He was just trying to make her feel special." says Harry Martin, a Junior at Nathan Hale-Ray High School.
The social media sites have been blowing up with posts that read "Send James to Prom!" and "James Tate for Prom King!" There is one fan page on Facebook that has almost 180,000 views!
Everyone stands behind James and we all want him to be able to enjoy his Senior Prom. It seems as if the principal of Shelton High School is the only person in the entire United States who thinks that Tate has done anything wrong.
"Team Tate" all the way!
