Teen Jam Night!

Just one of the wonderful events going on in East Haddam.

Hey!

So here goes the first blog post about an event! Most Friday's the East Haddam Youth and Services puts on an event called Teen Jam Night. This is an event where teens from East Haddam are able to play, listen or jam out to the music put on by local bands. This event is open to anyone in 6th grade or up and runs from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Grange Hall (488 Town Street East Haddam).

Now for the parents. I know that you are wondering about supervision and does it cost anything, and even if it's safe. Let me assure you that it is everything that you hope it to be. I frequently attend this event and there are at least three adults to supervise and the attendees aren't allowed to go further then the halls and porch unless their parents are there. Here's another great perk: It's free! There are even snacks there for your children to enjoy!

The next Teen Jam Night is currently taking place on Friday, May 13th, from 7 p.m., until 9:30 p.m. Sometimes they are canceled to to conflicts and I will post again if this occurs.

I highly recommend going to this event. It's a lot of fun and it's a great way to get out of the house and make some new friends.
