Bridge Reopens In East Haddam After Malfunction: DOT

EAST HADDAM, CT — DOT officials said the East Haddam Swing Bridge has reopened after temporarily closing Thursday due to a malfunction, NBC Connecticut reported. Officials said they were called to the scene after an issue was reported with the system that locks the bridge into place.

NBC Connecticut reports the bridge has reopened and traffic was moving as of 5:20 p.m.
