PHOTOS: Truck Used in Burglaries of Salem Valley Farm Ice Cream and Fox Hopyard Found
The truck reportedly used as a get away vehicle by two suspects who burglarized Salem Valley Farm and Fox Hopyard on Sunday has been located abandoned on the side of the road.
Salem Valley Farms Ice Cream was broken into early Sunday morning, September 2 at about 3:30 a.m. took about $100 in cash and did structural damage during the break-in, according to the owner of the ice cream shop.
According to police, just prior to that break-in at about 2:50 a.m., what appears to be the same suspects, broke into Fox Hopyard Golf Course where they got away with $5,000 in cash.

Salem Valley Farms provided East Haddam-Killingworth Patch with the photos of the suspects' vehicle, a Red Dodge Ram pick-up truck, which was found abandoned on the side of the road. Patch is waiting on a comment from the Connecticut State Police as to where exactly the truck was found.
