Burglary Investigation in Progress at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds, Police Ask for Assistance

Haddam area police activity reports.

 

The Haddam Resident Troopers' Office and the Connecticut State Police, Troop F in Westbrook report the following incidents:


FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT - On Jan. 24 at 5:20 p.m., Aaron Cambreleng, 21, of 196 Quarry Hill Road, Haddam Neck turned himself in to Middletown Police based on warrants for three counts of failure to appear in court and related to previous arrests and charges of operating with a suspended license, failure to display registration plates, traveling unreasonably fast, operating or towing an unregistered motor-vehicle and operating a vehicle without minimum insurance. Cambreleng was released on a $1,000 insured bond and is scheduled to appear at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown on 2/7/12.

BURGLARY INVESTIGATION - On Jan. 29, State Troopers from Troop F were dispatched to investigate a burglary that had occured at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds on Quarry Hill Road in Haddam. The suspects are described as two white males in their early to mid-twenties, who were observed walking around the property, checking the locks on several storage sheds. One of the sheds showed evidence of forced entry, gained by possibly kicking the door in. Nothing appeared to be taken, but anyone with information that could help police with this investigation is asked to contact Trooper Andrew Gwiazda at the Connecticut State Police, Troop F at 860-399-2100.
