  1. A Killingworth historic home hit the market recently with a $2.95 million dollar price tag. Built prior to the Revolutionary War this oldie but goodie is a stunning example of historic craftsmanship. This almost three-century old colonial-style home, located at 172 Roast Meat Hill Road was reportedly built around 1756 by Elisha Crane, a New Jersey native who served as a lieutenant in the Revolutionary War.
