Come out for I-Park’s final Open Trails + Music Day of the summer season on September 12 from 9:30am-3:30pm.
Join a guided hike in the morning (heading out at 10am), or wander at your own pace through paths featuring over 40 environmental artworks nestled in I-Park’s meadows, woodlands and waterways. Most trails are gentle and well‑marked, offering an easygoing experience for both casual walkers and hard core explorers. The popular Local Honey Project band will be performing from 12:30 to 2:30 pm- bring a picnic lunch and kick back to enjoy this lively performance. From 11am-2:30pm, visitors might partake in a special crafting project inspired by I-Park fellow Alice Momm, or venture into the pollinator garden to complete a scavenger hunt for a prize. This family-friendly day is perfect for all ages, and FREE to attend. A $10 suggested donation for attending adults will support I-Park's trail and garden maintenance. Advanced registration is recommended for smooth check-in, but walk-ins will be welcome. Visit i-park.org to register.
I-Park's Open Trails + Music Days are funded in part through grants from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation and the Community Foundation of Middlesex County.
