Celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the Hamburg Fair
Fairground gates open tonight at 5pm for the historic country fair.
Oxen pulls, carnival rides, baking contests, craft sales, clowns, blacksmith demontrations, fried foods, musical performances and award-winning livestock characterize this old-time country fair in Hamburg, Connecticut.
Celebrating its 110th anniversary, the Hamburg Fair will take place this weekend on August 19th, 20th and 21st at the Lyme Fairgrounds on route 156 in Hamburg.
General admission to the fair is $5, kids up to 12 years old are free, active service men and woman are $3 with an ID and senior citizens are $3. Rides are at an additional charge. A $20 “Ride all Day” bracelet is available each day.
