Connecticut River Gateway Commission Issues New Booklet
The agency last published a pamphlet about two years ago.

The Connecticut River Gateway Commission has issued a new mission booklet. The pamphlet, last updated about two years ago, lays out the group’s mission and history and describes the Gateway Conservation Zone.
The commission, headquartered in Old Saybrook, oversees and has regulatory authority in the conservation zone, comprised of hundreds of acres in eight lower Connecticut River towns, including Haddam and East Haddam.
The commission was created in 1973 by an act of the General Assembly, which also established the Gateway Conservation Zone.
