Crews Battle Heavy Smoke, Flames At Higganum House Fire

HADDAM, CT — Crews battled heavy smoke and flames at a Higganum house fire reported Tuesday night, according to The Middletown Press. Firefighters responded to the blaze at a Hidden Lake Road home at 9:45 p.m.

No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Crews from surrounding towns were also called in to extinguish the flames, according to The Middletown Press.
