Deep River Dunkin' Donuts Honors Veterans With Grand Opening Celebration

Hosts Veterans Day fundraiser on Tuesday, November 11 to benefit local American Legion

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, is opening its newest Connecticut restaurant at 246 Main Street in Deep River. To celebrate, franchisees Scott Fanning and Ted Crew will host a Grand Opening event on Tuesday, November 11.

As November 11 is Veterans Day, the franchisees have chosen to honor local veterans by hosting a fundraiser for the local American Legion Post 61. Members of the Deep River American Legion will be in store collecting guest donations that morning from 7:00 to 11:00 AM.

Additionally, in honor of Veterans Day, the franchisees have made the generous decision to donate half of the proceeds from the restaurant sales that day to American Legion Post 61.

Grand Opening event festivities are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and will include:

  • FREE Donut to all veterans (all day)
  • American Legion fundraiser (7:00 AM to 11:00 AM)
  • FREE Dunkin’ Donuts samples
  • Games & prizes
  • Dunkin’ Donuts mascot Cuppy
  • And more!
