Information via East Haddam Fire Department It's with a heavy heart that the East Haddam Fire Department has accepted the resignation of Captain Samuel Baber due to moving out of the East Haddam township. Captain Baber was a true asset to the department and has helped the department grow particularly in recruitment and retention and training. You will certainly be missed! Lieutenant Howard Bogue was voted in as Captain Baber's replacement. Senior Firefighter Andrew Olson was voted in as Lieutenant Bogue's replacement. Congratulations to newly elected Captain Howard Bogue and Lieutenant Andrew Olson.
