East Haddam Gets State Grant
The funding will be used for improvements to the town's sewer plant.

East Haddam will receive a $100,000 Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant for the design and construction of renovations to the sewer treatment plant owned and operated by the East Haddam Water Pollution Control Authority, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s office announced today.
The redesign, rehabilitation and repair will extend the life and service capacity of the facility, which was built in 1996. Improvements will increase efficiency, enhance worker safety and improve environmental protections.
