East Haddam Road Construction Notice

The East Haddam Public Works Department has announced the following road work as of May 31st, scheduled to be completed by June 10th:

Construction will include grinding existing pavement, followed by grading and repaving of these locations:

• East Shore Drive between Haywardville Rd. and the dirt section.
• Haywardville Rd. between East Shore Drive and the Salem town line.
• Johnsonville Rd. between East Haddam Moodus Rd. and Moodus   Leesville Rd.
• Neptune Ave. between Johnsonville Rd. and Moodus Leesville Rd.

In addition, drainage work will commence on Lakeside Drive around June 1st to be completed by June 15th.

The town website is urging residents to  "please avoid using these roads during these times" whenever possible.
