UPDATE: East Haddam Scam Alert, Not a Scam!

Police confirm the earlier reported scam is not actually a scam.

Update: State Police confirm that they have checked out the two men and this is not a scam. The men are actually college students selling books on behalf of Southwestern.

Original Report: East Haddam Police report that a white car containing two men claiming to be selling books on behalf of the East Haddam schools was spotted in several locations in the town of East Haddam on Tuesday night. Police continue to search for the two men. 

If approached by these men you are asked to notify the East Haddam police immediately at 860-873-1226.
