21-year-old Kristin Pare of East Haddam was involved in a fatal accident when the motorcycle she was riding crashed head-on into a Jeep along Route 244 in Pomfret, <a href="http://www.norwichbulletin.com/news/x1293695492/Houston-man-killed-in-Pomfret-motorcycle-crash#axzz1NlwMVR81" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Norwich Bulletin</a>. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at Day Kimball upon arrival. Pare was later transferred to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., and is listed in serious condition.
