The Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association (CRPA) and the East Hampton Parks and Recreation Department are once again sponsoring this program designed to promote basketball enthusiasm as well as basketball skills, fun, physical fitness, friendship and good sportsmanship.
Each player will have one minute to shoot from "hotspots" on one half of the court. Starting at the center of the half-court line, the player dribbles into shooting range. The contest challenges a player's speed, shooting, dribbling and rebounding ability. Three one-minute rounds constitute the duration of play for each player.
The top scorer in each division will advance to the county level (date and place TBA). Winners will then advance to the state contest at East Hampton Middle School on April 2nd.
