Critical Meeting: Save the Ferry

Every voice will count at the critical meeting on December 16. Hanging in the balance is the future of the historic Chester-Hadlyme ferry. State legislators have been invited to attend, as well as DOT representatives.  The co-chairs of the Save the Ferry Ad Hoc Committee are urging residents to make their voices heard. Anyone unable to attend the meeting can contact the state legislators. Whether the ferry runs or not is dependent upon people expressing their desire to see it continuing service, according to Co-Chair, Joyce Chase.
