The Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge is program that aims to reduce energy consumption in East Haddam households by 20%. In addition to East Haddam, 13 other CT towns are participating in the Challenge and competing to see who can reach and/or exceed their goals. By taking steps to become more energy efficient, residents will help East Haddam meet its goals and win town rewards, such as solar powered LED street lights.
