Goodspeed Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

On Monday, November 21, Goodspeed Musicals will hold their Annual Food Drive to benefit the East Haddam Food Bank. Goodspeed will be collecting donations in the hopes that they will have another record-breaking year for participation. The need is great this year as the number of households served by the East Haddam Food Bank has more than tripled in the past couple of years.

Goodspeed Musicals is offering a special buy one ticket, get one free to patrons who bring a generous donation of non-perishable foods to the November 21st 2:00 matinee or the 7:30 p.m. performance of City of Angels at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam  OR  Hello! My Baby at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn.

The East Haddam Food Bank is in need of many non-perishable food items, especially “the basics” such as soups, pastas, canned fruits and vegetables, and cereals, as well as paper goods and personal toiletries.

“As we enter the holiday season the Goodspeed family realizes the tremendous need right here in our community,” explains Michael P. Price, “this year we encourage all of our visitors to participate in this wonderful opportunity to share with our neighbors in the spirit of giving.”
