Nathan Hale-Ray High School 2012 Project Graduation committee have been meeting over the past few months to plan a variety of fundraising opportunities in order to provide a safe and fun all-night event for all graduating seniors. Most of our monthly meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month @ 7:00 p.m. at the high school. All parents interested in helping in our fundraising efforts are welcome to attend these meetings. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, November 29th @ 7:00. All senior parents are welcome.

NHRHS 2012 Project Graduation has many events planned during the month of November. Our first event will be the Dan Larosa Comedy Hypnosis Show that will take place at NHRHS on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Admission prices are $8 for students, $10 for adults, and a family 4-pack is $30.00. All tickets are sold at the door. There will also be a bake sale and jewelry sale during the evening.

Other upcoming fundraisers include the Little Caesar's Pizza Kit and Cookie Dough sale from November 1-15. Delivery of all items will be on Nov 28th at the High School from 2 - 5 pm. Please contact any member of the NHRHS senior class if you are interested in purchasing these convenient and delicious items. You can also find more information on this fundraiser event on Edline.
We are also hosting a Gift Card Sale from November 1st to November 21st. You purchase gift cards at the face value, which include large retail establishments and franchise restaurants. A portion of each gift card sold will benefit Project Graduation. Delivery date will be mid-December. So, if you’re planning on purchasing gift cards as a holiday gift, please consider purchasing them through the NHRHS Project Graduation. Another ongoing fundraiser is our stunning blue and white glass Chamilia Bead that has Hale-Ray Noises engraved on each silver band. The beads are compatible with all Pandora and Chamilia jewelry pieces and cost $25.00. You can attain an order form on Edline, purchase them at The Jewelry Connection located at 27 Lebanon Avenue in Colchester, or contact Erin Hermann at ehermann@sbcglobal.net for an order form. These are perfect for any Hale-Ray community member and for upcoming Middle School and High School Graduation gifts. There are a limited amount of beads left, so don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind glass bead.
Each Tuesday evening from November 1st – May 1st, 2012, the Hilltop BBQ Steakhouse located in Moodus will donate 10% of each evening’s proceeds toward Project Graduation. This is a great opportunity to enjoy exceptional barbeque, steaks, salads, and seafood at a local family-style establishment. Entrees are reasonably priced and the environment is casual. Project Graduation is affiliated with the East Haddam Youth and Family Services.
