Come be part of the 'studio audience' for the East Haddam Stage Company's 4th season of live theater at Gillette Castle State Park. We have recreated a 1930 radio studio on the outdoor stage at the park, and are using William Gillette's actual October 1930 radio script. That is believed to be the first ever radio broadcast of Sherlock Holmes anywhere in the world! Four actors portray 7 characters as well as live action sound effects, just like it was done in 1930! Shows are just 30 mintues. Bring a blanket, a chair and a picnic and enjoy this FREE show! The season is sponsored in part by Liberty Bank, Ballek's Garden Center and La Vita Gustosa restaurant. EHSCO is proud to offer live theater at the home of this great actor!
