Summer Show - Maple & Main Gallery

Maple & Main gallery's summer show will be the largest exhibit the gallery has hosted since its start, featuring the works of 33 member artists and six guest artists.

The show opens June 13, with a wine and appetizer reception Friday, June 15 from 5 to 8 pm when the artists will be on hand to greet visitors.

The gallery recently added to its roster of established artists Bob Noreika and Jim Grabowski, both nationally known and guest artists sculptor David Tremaine and painters Art Sholtz, Lou Bonomarte, Jan Blencowe, Claudia Post and Jim Riccio.

The gallery announces its newest members: Nancy bunnell of Willington, Barry Nelson of Norwich, David Stumpo of Sterling, Bruce Wood of Franklin, MA, Janine Roberson of Madison and Heidi Ludwig of Tolland all or whom bring different styles and medium to the gallery.

There is a second opportunity to party with Maple & Main artists Friday, June 22 when the gallery will host another reception as part of Chester's town-wide annual Mid-Summer Stroll from 5 to 8 pm. All the shops and restaurants will be open and serving special foods and wine and musicians will play in the streets.

The summer show runs through Aug 26 and the gallery is open Wednesday and Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm; Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 7 pm, and Sunday, 11am to 5pm.
