The Haddam-Killingworth Recreation Department is offering the American Red Cross “When I’m in Charge” class. Class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the old middle school, room A-119.
The course, for students ages 9 and up, is designed to teach kids how to be responsible when at home. Topics include internet safety, gun safety, family communications, sibling care, basic emergency care and confidence building.
