Event will thank two retiring legislators

The League of Women Voters–East Shore's 2014 Annual Meeting will offer everyone an opportunity to personally thank State Representative Patricia Widlitz (98) and State Senator Ed Meyer (12)
for their many years of public service before they retire this year as
elected officials. They have been highly influential in local and state
interests and causes, having chaired some of the most important
legislative committees during their time in Hartford.

Please join us on Monday, June 16, 6 p.m.
at La Luna Ristorante, 168 North Main St. in Branford. A buffet dinner
of Chicken, Fish & Pasta entrées will be accompanied by salad,
dessert and coffee/tea.  A "cash bar" will provide other beverages.
